Parent workshops

Thank you to all the parents who came along to our Maths workshops last week. Each Year group showed the parents and children how to work out basic calculations based on the four operations.

Congratulations Hill Mead

Congratulation to all the children from Hill Mead who took part in the latest Lambeth Sumdog competition. In the top 5 were both classes from Years 5 and 6.

In fact Hill Mead took 50% of the places in the top 10!

Congratulations to Hanny, Manaar, Dinsdale, Gabrielle and Labiba who made it into the top ten individual student scores.

A week in review

This week Year 1 were learning about capacity as part of their topic about the seaside. You can see them in the picture measuring the capacity of different containers.

Year 5 were investigating the surface area of the biggest cube which can fit onto A3 paper.
